Covid Lockdowns 2020-2021. Our Fire Horse Tribe have kept in touch, sharing creative talents & Birthday wishes as we celebrate another journey around the sun.
We wanted to get a snapshot of how this notoriously, freedom loving, beast was coping during the Covid Lockdowns. The response was surprising, inspiring and included Fire Horses from many corners of the earth.
“Hi Fellow Fire Horses, I hope you are all doing well. I am planning a new website called The Fire Horse and the Black Dog. I would love to get some feed back as it goes on line and develops. It will include the history of “FIRE HORSES” 1966. It will also include other Horsie Shenanigans.”

Fire Horse Tribe – What we had to say!
‘I am totally feeling ur concerns.. From LB with love’
‘ My favourite author for an accurate description of fire horses was Susan White her book Chinese astrology. It really resonated with me particularly as a child. I think many of us have a love of travel and a problem with roots. It’s great to connect to others born in this year to see other similarities.’
‘Hang in there, all will pass, greetings from a fellow fire horse in Scotland in Quarantine’
‘From Melbourne, still in lockdown. Haven’t been around friends or family since end of March so 100% support your idea. “The black dog” affects many I know.’
‘Keeping the black dog at bay’ here in Canada. ‘Here’ in the now and ‘After’ this pandemic we will run the Fire Horse powerhorse way. Best of luck with your website… horseshoes up.’
“Totally understand how you are feeling…so I can relate!! Keeping myself busy and trying to not think too much has helped me as well as music, meditation and mother Nature!! Stay strong, healthy and safe and be sure to post links. Big virtual hugs and a ton of positive healing thoughts and energy being sent to you from Vancouver Island xo” “You got this!! ”
“Losing the will every day here in the Uk. Such a shit year in so many ways.”
“Trying to make the best of each day. Pretty isolated. Just me and my kids. Working and keeping them going with online school. ”
“Such a close reminder of where and how this thing operates. I am terribly sorry to hear about your friend. He’s been given a great honour but at what price? Hugs for you!”
“Though I may be geographically isolated right smack dab in the middle of this huge pond we call the Pacific, the Black Dog has far reaches. Nothing like the comfort of our sisters and brothers in our herd in these uncertain times.”
“I can only image having a child with severe medical issues would be all consuming. I hope you are coping and your baby is comfortable. Sending you all a virtual Aussie hug and smile! Front line would see the worst of the distress at the tipping point. So your books must be a great resource.”
I am separated from my son due to Border restrictions, it has been too long since I have been around anything familiar so I am feeling a little lost. So I thought I’d say Hi and would love to hear how you are all going?
“Depression is extremely misunderstood – I didn’t understand it.”
